点评：We had a spectacular Friday evening at LB.
I had a feeling this place was special when I was researching places to go to during our trip to Milwaukee. I was completely sold when I found out they had a vegan version of the fish fry.
It worked perfectly for our Thursday to Saturday trip to MKE. I reserved a table for 6pm. We were seated at a high top with a little "reserved" card so we felt important.
Our server was so nice and friendly. She came over before we were even ready to order. It didn't take long for us to figure it out because there were a few obvious choices: CHEESE CURDS and what we came for, the f****** fish fry. I ordered the plant based one, GF the walleye.
I was going to get one of their beers but the root beer old fashioned caught my attention immediately. Old fashioneds are typically too adult-tasting for me but I thought I might be able to handle it. It was. DELICIOUS. What a great twist on an old fashioned. There must have been a hole in the bottom of my glass because that **** was gone before I knew it.
The cheese curds were, hands down, the best cheese curds I have ever had in my life and possibly one of the best things I have ever consumed period. Holy s***. Would it be inappropriate to have 2 orders?
The plant based fish fry was also impressive considering that it wasn't fish. I loved it and I loved being able to participate in something like that.
GF's fish fry was "really good".
There was also a polka band which was f****** adorable. Supposedly they have done it every Friday for 25 years and that is just too precious.
It seems like a must do while in Milwaukee.

我本来打算买一杯他们家的啤酒，但那杯 Root Beer Old Fashioned 立刻吸引了我的注意。对我来说，传统的 Old Fashioned 通常口味太“成熟”了，不过我觉得自己或许能接受。结果确实如此——美味至极！这真是对传统 Old Fashioned 的一种绝妙创新啊。我的杯子底部肯定有个洞，因为等我反应过来时，里面的饮料已经全没了。
那些奶酪凝块绝对是我这辈子吃过的最好吃的奶酪凝块，甚至可以说是我吃过的最棒的食物之一。天哪！点两份会不会不太合适呢？
那个植物基“炸鱼”也相当出色，尽管它其实并不是鱼。我超喜欢的，能吃到这样的食物真是太棒了。
GF做的炸鱼则“相当不错”。还有一个波尔卡乐队，简直可爱到爆。据说他们25年来每周五都会演出，真是太迷人了。
在密尔沃基时，这绝对是值得体验的项目。
