点评:Admission was $20 for an adult and $18 for a senior. Me and my grandma were at the zoo for about four or five hours and were able to see almost everything except the wolves and mountain lion because of construction.
Accessibility:
I use a manual wheelchair with no power assistance. Going down the hills was easy and somewhat fun, but was also dangerous in some areas (such as the underground viewing by the bears). If you do not have someone with you, you could easily get hurt. At one point, going down the path at the capybara exhibit, I held my wheel to slow town, my wheel stopped moving but I as a unit kepted going! I almost crashed...
Going up some of these hills on my own was somewhat impossible, my grandma had to help push me or I had to wheel backwards.
There are no push buttons for doors. You will need to push them open with your feet or have someone hold them.
The train was an accessible car on the back if anyone is interested in that, we were not, but it looks fun.
Other accessibility in mind- their was no braille for animal descriptions. A few QR codes on things, I didnt scan them, they COULD have audio descriptions, not sure.
Overall a good zoo experience, they do have free wheelchairs to rent, one of which is a power chair (like at the grocery store). I wish they would get push buttons and add some hand rails for some of the paths for wheelchair users. Or repathe some areas.
