Our tour guide Veronika, was fantastic! A excellent driver, who can handle mountain roads with ease. She was engaging, friendly, humorous, and full of knowledge about Slovenia. Her love for her country shines through in everything she shared with us, making us appreciate not just the breathtaking beauty of Triglav National Park but also the culture, history, and hidden gems of Slovenia.
What impressed us the most was her energy. From the moment she picked us up in the morning until she dropped us back, her enthusiasm never faded. She kept us entertained throughout the journey, made sure everyone felt comfortable, and always prioritised our safety. You could genuinely see how much heart and soul she puts into her work.
We had accidentally selected the wrong address on Google Maps and were worried we might miss the tour. Instead of letting us panic, she kindly picked us up from the location where we were waiting. That gesture meant so much to us!!!!
On top of everything, she gave us so many wonderful recommendations for places to eat, shop, and explore during the rest of our stay in Slovenia. Her local knowledge was invaluable, and it felt like we were getting recommendations from a friend rather than just a tour guide.
Triglav National Park is an absolute must-see, and having the right guide makes all the difference.
