Great for high energy children!?
The Arc - The Climbing Academy的点评
点评：I took my 2 children (6 and 8) for the first time. There was a lot of form filling on arrival - all safety information and emergency contact etc, apparently you can do it in advance online - would highly recommend. Lockers are available, but you need your own padlock if you have valuables. Admission fee and shoe hire came to £23 for 2 children, so very reasonable for what you get.
Very helpful and welcoming staff. Explained what was where.
We went to the smaller bouldering area first, this was great, not too high and good for building some confidence.
We did the second bouldering room, that was a lot harder for the children, but it didn't stop them trying and having fun.
We were taught how to use the auto belays - great for one adult supervising 2 children as you don't need to do the ropes yourself.
Staff highly enthusiastic and helpful, and spoke with the children directly which was lovely.
We spent nearly 3 hours at the arc by time my children were too tired to climb anymore.
