点评:I came to climb the clock tower. I arrived at about 9.45 and began to queue. For the first hour of the day, the tickets are reduced. They also have a separate student price, and I did show my ID, though I'm not sure exactly how the price compares to regular price. I was charged CZK 150 (about £5.50 or $7). I proceeded straight up the tower and the views were excellent. You can look out from the inside or outside, and first thing in the morning in the off season meant it wasn't crowded at all. Highly recommend, I think the experience was certainly worth the price. I believe you can pay extra to take the lift up and down too, though the ascent wasn't hard. To go up, there were stairs that go up to the building height, and then inside the tower it is a sort of ramp (I have included photos) until the final section which is a few steps in a spiral. It was not strenuous at all. The astronomical clock exhibit looked to be a totally empty room half under construction with a sort of interactive screen in the middle. It appeared to be all in Czech and I didn't think it was worth queuing over, so I left. The gift shop had quite a few nice things to purchase, though all were quite pricey.
