Great views along the coast and the Natural Park
Mirador de Cofete的点评
点评：Friday the 19th June we visited this Mirador in the Jandía Natural Park.
The Mirador is located at the Degollada de Agua Oveja at 234 metres (768 feet) sea level.
At roughly 11 Kilometres along the unsufaced road in the park there is a fork in the road. Taking the left hand side leads to to Faro Jandía. Instead we took the right hand side in the direction of Cofete, 8 kilometres away.
The track winds it's way to the top of the hill where the Mirador is situated. It is easier to visit here when travelling towards Cofete as the viewing platform and it's very limited parking are on that side of the track.
We were very fortunate that there was a space available as we reached the summit.
It was exceptionally windy as we walked around enjoying the views around the Natural Park and the impressive Cofete Beach stretching about 12 kilometres along the rugged coast.
The wind did impact on the length of our visit, we had a quick run around, not venturing too close to the edge, we then quickly returned to the safety of our car.
From the Mirador at the summit we started the descent down the other side of the hill towards Cofete.
On the way if you miss the Mirador or there is no parking, when returning from Cofete it is possible to stop, parking permitting, on either side of the road.
