点评:Although just a small park, this ground player a vital role in establishing our country with a crucial victory for General Washington when he needed it most. Its a very peaceful place just outside of town. It has some very informative signage and a pleasant walking trail. There is a historic property that witnessed the battle on the property however it was closed when we arrived. Would have enhanced the visit but just being on the ground and feeling the events that happened here was inspirational. Would be a fun day to start at Washington crossing parks ( the ones on both sides of the Delaware, go to the sites in Trenton and Assunpink Creek, then on to Princeton to stay for dinner and B&B....then on up the Millstone River to the sites along the way to Washington Rock and the Middleburg cantonment.
