点评：I’ve visited Whitby a number of times over the years but never noticed this spot! For £6 per adult we thought we’d have a look inside as I love conservation projects. Once inside we were looking at the first exhibit when a member of staff (I think her name was Hanna?) came over to share some facts about the fish in the first tank and really engaged with us. After chatting for a while she went off to search for something and we carried on our way through the aquarium. We then joined onto a talk by Eric about the hatchery itself, the work they do and how the lobsters grow and develop. Eric was an excellent guide and so engaging, answering every question you might have before you could even ask it! I would highly recommend this hatchery as the work they do is excellent and it is such an interesting visit. Definitely make sure to talk to a member of staff whilst there though, as it would be hard to understand the place in its entirety without having someone explain it
