Unforgettable sunrise hike 🌋

点评：What an adventure! We were picked up from our Airbnb at 1am by a very nice driver, Kadek. At 3am we met with our hiking guide at the bottom of Mt, Batur. Starting a little early gave us enough time to make it to the top with stops for water, catching your breath, and some starlight pictures while almost being alone on the trails. Once we arrived at the top, our guide Nyoman set up some benches with blankets, brought us tea, and started to prepare breakfast. It was colder than we expected but there were blankets to rent, which kept us warm until the sun came up. The view was AMAZING and we got some incredible pictures too. After half an hour of daylight we slowly made our way back down. Our kids enjoyed chatting with the Nyoman and he also shared some local art cultural insights with us. Back in the car, Kadek brought us safely back home. It was an experience of a lifetime! Thanks to the whole team!
