Loved walking the grounds after the tea event!

点评：We attended the tea event midweek, so it wasn't too crowded and sat at a table by the window.
We are members, so the tea cost $40 per person which we thought was reasonable for what the offered. The servers were friendly and accommodating. Most folks were dressed smart casual and some went all out with cute hats.
We enjoyed all the sweet and savory treats, especially the cranberry & orange scones and the tea was delicious. They also served mini cheddar & chive scones, mini sandwiches (pear & apricot jam with cream cheese, cucumber with dill, & ham with pimiento) chicken salad in a phyllo cup, shrimp pate, French Macarons, mini cupcakes, and chocolate truffles. We did find it odd that random folks would just walk thru the dining room as if taking a tour during the event. We thought only tea party folks were allowed in the dining room.
The tea event is timed, so after an hour we walked the interior floors of the mansion and then walked thru the beautiful grounds filled with many varieties of daffodils and tulips. Some of the grounds with ponds were roped off maybe due to storm damage.
We spent about 2 hours total. Definitely wear some comfortable shoes.
