Stunning scenery but some things need improvement
Askar Horse Riding Tour的点评
点评：My son & I booked this tour after quite a lot of research, because it is recommended as one that takes care of clients in the cooler seasons, and also has good horse care and client safety.
We had a good time and are proud of our achievement in completing this challenge.
I agree the horses are wonderful, and the yurts were welcoming and cosy. The scenery you ride through is absolutely incredible.
However, if you are a beginner, please be aware of the following:
• my helmet didn’t fit, each time I tightened it, it worked loose again.
• my stirrups were too large, so were very uncomfortable until I told the guide on Day 2 and he wound some fabric round them to make them smaller.
• my stirrup straps were too long, so the riding on Day 1 was scary and uncomfortable as I was in a poor riding position and the guide didn’t notice this.
• We weren’t given any joining information about where & when to meet, nor a list of what to bring. Longer socks would have been very useful.
• we weren’t given any information about how to position your body on the horse when trotting or cantering. I have done a small amount of riding so thankfully was able to explain a bit to my son.
• riding for 3 days is tiring, as you need to concentrate a lot. The descent on the final day, and then some cantering as well, means I don’t think this is really “suitable for beginners” as advertised.
However, we managed it and are happy we did it. We loved the two yurt camps we stayed in as well. But I wanted to write a review so other people are aware of some potential problems as well.
We had a good time and are proud of our achievement in completing this challenge.

• 连续三天骑马相当耗费体力，因为需要全神贯注。最后一天还有下坡路段以及一段快跑，因此我觉得这项活动并不像宣传所说的那样“适合初学者”。
不过我们还是顺利完成了，也为自己的尝试感到开心。我们也很喜欢入住过的那两个蒙古包营地。不过我想写一篇评测，这样其他人也能了解到一些可能出现的问题。
