A fun little museum with lots of character

点评：The Dachshund Museum was one of those places that had been sitting on my mental travel list for years. I first discovered it during a family trip to Passau in 2020, but my family didn't want to visit at the time. When I came back to Passau in 2023, I learned that it had moved to Regensburg, so the plan was postponed once again. Last month, I finally made it there with my boyfriend.
For anyone who likes unusual museums, this is definitely something different. The exhibition is fairly compact, but there are lots of amusing and interesting objects to look at. I particularly liked the Hausmeister Krause display, Waldi from the 1972 Munich Olympics, and the Pumuckl section.
The souvenir shop was almost an attraction in itself. There are so many dachshund-themed souvenirs that I had no trouble finding several things for a friend who loves dachshunds. The gentleman at the counter was extremely friendly and even helped me choose some stamps with dachshund motive to go with the admission tickets, which can also be used as postcards.

纪念品商店本身几乎也算得上一个景点了。这里有大量以腊肠犬为主题的纪念品，所以我轻而易举就为那位喜欢腊肠犬的朋友挑到了好几件心仪的物品。柜台前的那位先生极其友善，甚至还帮我挑选了一些带有腊肠犬图案的邮票，用来搭配那些同样能当作明信片使用的入场券。
