点评：What a pleasant surprise the Buffalo AKG Art Museum gave us! We did not realize its rich history in that is it the sixth oldest art museum in the United States. But the real surprise was the wealth of impressionist, post impressionist, modern and contemporary art is has, made up of the world's most renown artists. The admission fee is reasonable, and it has the waving of the fee for many reciprocal museums in the country. The architecture itself, and the surrounding grounds are worth the visit alone. The layout of the museum is easy to follow and the art displayed with care and enough space to view the works with a sense of presence and calm. The desk hosts were exceptionally knowledgeable and kind in their answering our questions. We have been to museums all over this country and Europe, and this one ranks right up there with the best!
