Brilliant, engaging and interactive museum

点评：I visited the museum with my children, sister and brother in law - ages ranging from 5 to 47! We were all impressed with the quality and diversity of exhibits at the museum and the interactivity which really appealed to the children. The Sellafield exhibit is engaging and brought back memories of the visitor centre we’d seen in the 1990s and the children spent half an hour constructing all sorts of devices. The Carboniferous monsters exhibition was stunning - informative, colourful and engaging (so much so that my youngest cried as we was afraid of the monsters).
A special mention for the Coastal Youth Exhibition. My children were enchanted by the photos, recordings and film and very impressed with the clay models made by the children and young people. We travelled a long way for our visit, from Luxembourg, and it reminded us that we appreciate the same things that had been captured on film: family and the outdoors.
A day was not enough and we hope to return in future.
