点评：I couldn’t recommend Pisces Diving Sodwana Bay enough! Frankly, I don't think there are enough words to convey this amazing experience enough.
Completing my Divemaster course and internship with Pisces has been one of the most rewarding, challenging and unforgettable experiences of my life. I came into the course hoping to grow as a diver, enter the professional world of diving and gain experience, but I left with so much more: A huge amount of knowledge, confidence, practical experience, and memories that I will carry with me for a lifetime.
From day one, the entire Pisces team was incredibly supportive, encouraging and welcoming. Even when things were challenging, there was always someone there to help, encourage me and remind me that I was capable of getting through it. Safety was also always a priority. I never once felt unsafe or unsupported, and that gave me the confidence to push myself, learn from my mistakes and become a better diver.
A massive thank you to my instructor, Gus, who is genuinely one of the best instructors I have ever had the privilege of learning from. Gus is incredibly patient, kind and knowledgeable, but what really sets him apart is the way he teaches. He explains things clearly, demonstrates everything exceptionally well and, most importantly, makes sure you truly understand why you are doing something, rather than simply teaching you to follow a procedure. He engages with is all his students and knows when to be patient, when to challenge you and when to push you outside your comfort zone. He always pushed me to get the absolute best out of myself, while making sure I was doing it safely and confidently. I genuinely could not have asked for a better instructor to guide me through this journey.
I also have to thank Louis, whose knowledge and experience were invaluable throughout my training. There is so much to learn beyond simply becoming a qualified Divemaster, and Louis was incredibly generous with his knowledge and experience. I learned so much from him about diving, the industry, Sodwana, the ocean and what it really means to work as a professional diver. His experience added an enormous amount of value to my training.
And Naide deserves a huge thank you aswell! She was an absolute lifesaver throughout the course, making sure I had all my “ducks in a row” and that my paperwork, administration and requirements were all taken care of. She kept me informed, organised and up to date throughout the process, while also being incredibly supportive and encouraging. I learnt an enormous amount about hospitality and administration from her purely from witnessing her work.
What makes Pisces so special is the people, it feels like home away from home. They genuinely want you to succeed. They challenge you, support you, teach you and celebrate your progress and successes with you, and when you fall they help you back up. There were definitely difficult moments along the way, but the team always made me feel like it was possible, and ultimately, it was!
I am incredibly proud to say that I am now a Divemaster, and I know that the diver and professional I am today and strive to be is largely because of the people who invested their time, knowledge and energy into me during this journey.
If you are considering doing your Divemaster course, I honestly wouldn’t recommend anywhere else. Pisces is the place to do it. The training, experience, knowledge, safety and, above all, the people are exceptional.
