点评：We visited in June 2026.
The viewpoint itself is beautiful, but the parking experience leaves much to be desired. Vehicles are parked along the roadside, and finding a suitable spot can be quite challenging, especially during busy periods. A parking fee of ₹100 per four-wheeler is charged (cash only), yet there is little to no assistance or guidance for managing the parking area, which can make the process frustrating.
The entry fee is ₹40 per adult.
The viewpoint features both an upper viewing platform (a watch tower reached by climbing a short flight of stairs) and a lower viewing platform. Both offer essentially the same panoramic views, so visitors can choose whichever is more convenient.
As with most viewpoints in the Nilgiris, the experience depends heavily on weather conditions. On a clear day, the views are spectacular; on cloudy or foggy days, visibility can be significantly reduced.
The watch tower provides sweeping views of the surrounding hills, valleys, and forests. On clear days, visitors can also spot the distant Catherine Falls, one of the region's most recognizable landmarks.
When the weather cooperates, the scenery is truly breathtaking. Layers of mountains stretch into the horizon, lush green valleys unfold below, and the distant waterfall adds to the charm of the landscape.
