A great journey, but prepare for a wet bottom!
Peak Sightseer Open Top Bus Tour的点评
点评：Another great trip like last year, we decided to do the whole route from Chesterfield to Castleton, then get off at Baslow to get the bus to Bakewell. We then went from Bakewell and had to change at Baslow to get to Chesterfield as the one we were on was waiting half an hour due to not serving Chatsworth because of the country fair.
Unfortunately, even with little rain the previous day, when we got on the seats although not at to touch, were wet enough to allow moisture through the stitching onto our clothes. We ended up moving inside, which was fortunate really since it then rained a little. The range happened on the way back. Going on a couple of different buses, it would seem the seats that are leather effect with the stitching on retain water, whilst the older blue ones with Stagecoach logo don't. This is the same issue we had last year, luckily my children didn't need to change their clothes as we noticed quicker and moved seats. I feel the seats need thought as to being comfortable but also a material that will repel water when it rains, a they evidently don't dry quickly.
The other thing to mention is the price, least year it cost around £30 for 4 adults and 2 children on a group ticket, meaning my husband and children could travel with my sister and her husband for a very reasonable price. This year it was £38 just for our family of 4, with additional cost from them, which whilst for the journey isn't a terrible cost, it's quite the jump from last year.
