点评：This is a 16th century temple. The temple has a divine atmosphere. It is maintained clean. The temple surroundings have been recently renovated over an area covering several acres that looks beautiful and complements the temple very well. An foot overbridge has also come up to the other side of the ring road to a large promenade overlooking river Mahanadi. Lovely sights. I spent about 45 - 60 min in the temple and its vicinity and liked the experience. The crowd was very low during my visit, and the staff were helpful. There are several facilities accessible to pilgrims such as a free shoe stand, toilets that are fairly clean, shops, a canteen and so on. I was told that prasadam is also served to all at mid-day, though I did not experience it myself having reached there only in the evening. There is no admission fee to enter the temple or its premises. The overall experience was very nice and I would want to visit again in the future when I am in Sambalpur.
