点评:On May 31st 2026, we joined the wonderful Claire for the "In Search of Dracula" walk. It was a delightful evening of little known facts and information behind one of literatures best known characters! Claire was full of knowledge of the area - being a local gal herself - yet she also had a vast array of knowledge on Bram Stoker and the infamous Dracula character. The walk cost £7 each - cash only currently - and was well worth the small amount it cost. The walk started from the Whale Bone Arch and went around a selection of areas and ended where it began. Claire was funny, personable, friendly and genuinally seemed like she enjoyed her role in it all. The walk lasted approx 75-90 mins (ours was a little longer due to us being distracted by the boat race happening in the harbour when we were down there). The walk contains steps/stairs so isn't suited to pushchairs or wheelchairs. I don't know if the route would have been adapted were anyone in need of mobility aids. The atmosphere of the walk was fun - all participants were laughing together and playing along with roles given. All in all, a perfect evening spent in Whitby!
