Harry Potter disappointment
环球冒险岛的点评
点评：For years, I'd been wanting to do the whole Harry Potter experience with my family. It was so disappointing that Hagrid's magical creatures motorbike ride was out of service almost the entire two days we were there. At one point, they opened the ride and we got in line within 5 minutes, waited another 20, were told it was down again, then were told it would likely be at least another hour before becoming operational again. For the $300 million it cost to ride, you'd think they could keep it operational. We got express passes through our hotel - worth their weight in gold - but our 2-day park-to-park (because you need that to ride the hogwarts express) admission for 3 people cost $1000. I'd say we got about 1/10th that in value. Flight of the hippogrif was fun, but the actual ride lasts less than a minute. We also liked Ripsaw Falls (very wet!), Reign of Kong and the Velocicoaster (if you're not prone to motion sickness). We thought it would be fun to see the Beauxbatons and Durmstrang show, which turned out to be just a photo op (due to a wet stage) - it was so sad to watch the waiting audience all walk away when this was announced - only one person got in line for the photo.
