点评：I rented a boat from this company on 03/25 for visiting guests, and the experience was both disappointing and dangerous. Despite a Small Craft Advisory being in effect for our area that day, the staff failed to advise a reschedule or warn us of the hazardous conditions for a small vessel.
Compounding the risk of the rough water, the boat itself had significant mechanical failures. A high-pitched engine alarm sounded for 5–10 minute intervals on three separate occasions during our trip. Even more concerning, the engine failed to start multiple times, leaving us temporarily stranded in choppy water.
I reported these specific issues to the deckhand cleaning the boat immediately upon our return, but he offered no assistance. I have since followed up with management via email, I included that we have video proof of the alarms, but have been completely ignored.
It is clear this company is willing to send out unseaworthy vessels in documented hazardous weather without regard for passenger safety. I am currently pursuing a 50% refund through my bank. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for a rental that prioritizes safety and reliable equipment.
