One of the Most Fun Museums in Washington — Not Your Typical Museum! 🕵️♀️

点评：If you’re in Washington, DC, put the International Spy Museum on your list! This was easily one of the most entertaining museums we visited, and definitely not the kind where you just walk around reading signs.
Tickets were approximately $40 USD per person, and we spent about 3–3.5 hours inside — and honestly, the time flew by.
One of my favourite parts was creating your own spy profile and using the computer terminals throughout the exhibits to complete missions and help solve a crime. It made you pay attention to what you were seeing instead of just wandering through the museum. The interactive elements kept things interesting and made it fun for adults too.
And yes… you can test your inner ninja! 🥷 There’s an opportunity to crawl through vents and see if you can make it through without being detected. Let’s just say some people may discover they’re not quite as stealthy as they thought! 😂
The exhibits were extremely well presented, interesting, and easy to follow. There’s a great mix of real espionage history, technology, gadgets, stories and hands-on activities. The James Bond car near the entrance was also a pretty cool bonus for any Bond fan. 🚗💨
Helpful tip: Give yourself at least 3 hours. Don’t rush through the interactive stations — they’re a big part of what makes this museum different from others.
Overall, we had a great time and would absolutely recommend it. It’s educational without feeling like school, interactive without feeling childish, and entertaining enough that you’ll probably find yourself wondering whether you have what it takes to be a real spy. 😉
