点评：This is a museum you can't miss! The lower level gift shop has many displays of sock monkeys, including the oldest sock monkey in the collection. The displays are well thought out and I applaud the woman who is sharing her collection with the world for really thinking things through with how many things are group. Pay the money to go upstairs. There is only one thing you cannot photograph. I guide will go with you and spend about 10 minutes giving an overview. If you want more information, there is a short 10 minute film you can watch about the history. So many displays to look at, each one bringing a new smile to our faces. We spent a lot of time saying, "Look at this one." Don't forget to look up as many are above eye level . My favorite spot was the soul mates section. I also loved the areas where the background story was given, as many times the journey of the sock monkey was not known. OH>...don't forget to check out Aunt Bees sewing room where monkeys are made for a special Mayberry section!
