The perfect place to begin diving and hard to leave Kalamata Divers

点评：Kalamata Divers was the first dive shop I’ve ever trained with and they were superb.
The facility is really well equipped with hot showers, changing areas, a café onsite, yoga classes with the lovely Anna, and a dive shop stocked with several diving essentials. They also have all the rental equipment you may need, and the online sign-up process was easy and straightforward.
What really made the experience special was the culture of the shop. Everyone was welcoming, friendly, and inviting. Hanging out before and after dives became such a fun social part of the experience — meeting new people, grabbing lunch together, and talking about other adventures and sightseeing around Kalamata.
The staff was outstanding: warm, knowledgeable, observant, enthusiastic, and encouraging. Nate and Niko, the owners, have a really calm and grounding presence about them.
Each instructor brought something unique to my experience, and all six of my dives benefited from their different input. David carefully observed my first dives and gave me really helpful feedback and instruction. Lea brought amazing energy and enthusiasm and was so generous with documenting my dives. Olga was warm, encouraging, and confident, and guided me to my final PB on my last day. Sebastian and François helped bring awareness to small but important details throughout every dive.
Thank you all for such an incredible experience. It was genuinely hard to leave Kalamata because of you all — and of course the delicious food and chill beaches too.
I highly recommend Kalamata Divers and I’m already counting down the days until we meet again.
