点评:I attended an event on October 10, 2026, after purchasing a $200 VIP table for four directly through House of Blues. My confirmation explicitly stated, “You will be entering the venue through our Priority Entry Line.”
We arrived around 8:45 p.m. to find the line wrapped around the building. When I asked about priority entry, multiple employees insisted there was no such line. One gentleman was particularly rude and condescending, stating there were approximately 400 VIP guests and “everybody’s VIP,” despite my showing him the written confirmation.
Another employee, Mike, eventually approached and sarcastically stated, “We’re just trying to help you out here.” I explained that I wasn’t asking for a favor. I had paid for a service that House of Blues explicitly advertised.
The most disappointing part of the evening was being treated so rudely and dismissively simply for expecting the services I purchased. It set an incredibly negative tone before we even entered the venue.
Once inside, Ian, who had originally assisted with my reservation, was apologetic, personally escorted us to our table, and checked on us throughout the evening. I sincerely appreciated his professionalism.
Unfortunately, we then waited approximately 20–25 minutes without a server. I eventually located Faith, who, once notified, provided excellent, attentive service for the remainder of the evening. She deserves recognition as well.
Additionally, the VIP area was poorly maintained. Guests crossed the ropes, leaned against our chairs, and crowded our table so closely that I could barely move my chair or comfortably get up to dance.
While Ian offered complimentary shots as a gesture of goodwill, the overall VIP experience fell far short of expectations.
This review reflects my experience with House of Blues as a venue, not the R&B ONLY event itself. I enjoyed the event, but the treatment upon arrival and lack of enforcement of the VIP seating area left me with little desire to return.
Premium services should be delivered as advertised, without customers having to repeatedly advocate for what they’ve already paid for.
