点评：The most incredibly authentic experience of Namibia’s desert elephants and truly one of the best experience of our lives - DO NOT MISS IT!
We were lucky enough to book an afternoon tour, it was just the two of us and our safari guide, Star; a true ‘Superstar’.
Star has experience growing up around the Elephants in the area, one of the elephants is even named after his mother, he has the most incredible knowledge of them. We were able to spot two herds, in a calm and peaceful afternoon environment, one group of 14, and one group of 5.
Star spent the next 2.5hours driving amongst both herds as they rested in the afternoon sun, extremely knowledgeable and able to read their body language, the elephants were comfortable and we were able to enjoy their little ‘quirks’ and personalities. Each elephant had a name and Star was able to detail the entire family tree for us to follow along as well as many, many facts about the Elephants, in particular the differences between the desert Elephant and Savannah Elephant.
We are so glad we booked this experience and would definitely return! Highly recommend this experience!!
