点评：Beautiful landscape, very easy "hike" (should be classed more as a walk) that loops around the two lakes. Incredibly serene and worth the visit! You'll hardly break a sweat, but on a hot day, bring sunnies, a hat, water and sunscreen as there is no shade on the walk. Mild ascent at the start.
Check the official Asturias website before you go: the road to the lakes from Covadonga is typically closed annually for the high season. Alsa runs a highly efficient bus shuttle service - book your tickets in advance, especially if going in the morning - as it sells out. Use the Alsa app and you can change your tickets anytime or request refund if you can no longer travel (anytime up to departure time).
If taking the Alsa shuttle, you can stop by Covadonga sanctuary on your return trip (no additional charge) and then take another shuttle every 30mns from Covadonga to your parking lot. Well worth the stop at the sanctuary after.
