Local Jungle Trekking Guide的点评
点评：Amazing experience. We have done Orangutan trips to Sabah, Kalimantan, and now Sumatra and this was the best orangutan trip of them all. We saw so many orangutans we lost count. Even had them in the trees next to our camp.
The hot springs are also fantastic. Don’t skip them. You basically sit in pools on the edge of rapids and small waterfalls in a river in the middle of the jungle, the hot spring water mixes with the cold river water and it’s great.
Putra came highly recommended by a friend who lives in Indonesia and has done many trips like this. He deserved the praise.
We stayed in one of Putra’s newly built cabins before and after the trip. Food and experience were high quality and tasty. Facilities are basic but charming, as is expected for the location.
I’ve been to over 100 countries and have done gorilla and chimp tracking in Africa, this experience is up there.
Do your homework, have proper expectations for jungle trekking / camping in remote Sumatra, know what you’re getting into, and when you’re deciding on a guide, you can confidently choose Putra without hesitation.
