An absolute gem on Ireland’s south coast! Our visit to Seaside Alpacas was so much more than just an alpaca walk – it was a truly authentic experience that we’ll remember for a long time.
The farm is set in a stunning location overlooking the sea, with beautiful countryside all around. Walking with the alpacas through the fields and down towards the beach was peaceful, relaxing and simply breathtaking. Our almost 13-year-old son absolutely loved it, which says a lot! 🦙
What made this visit especially memorable was everything we learned along the way. After feeding the alpacas, we were invited into the wool studio, where we watched a live demonstration of how alpaca fleece is processed and spun into yarn. Seeing this traditional craft in person is something you rarely experience nowadays, and it gave us a whole new appreciation for the work, skill and passion behind every handmade product.
To top it all off, we enjoyed a delicious homemade snack with fresh bread, making us feel less like visitors and more like welcome guests.
Everyone we met was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. If you’re looking for an experience that combines beautiful scenery, wonderful animals, fascinating craftsmanship and genuine Irish hospitality, don’t miss Seaside Alpacas.
