点评：Timing is everything and our vacation to Alaska coincided with the 90th anniversary of the Alaska State Fair. We definitely wanted to attend as who the heck has a chance to visit the Alaska State Fair?? After a about a 30 minute wait to get our tickets and enter, we found ourselves looking at all the uniquely Alaskan exhibits and food booths. The Midway was about the same as anywhere else but the view from the ferris wheel certainly was special with all the mountains surrounding the festivities. We were a little too early for the giant veggies display but we really liked eating reindeer hot dog mac & cheese, and some salmon quesadillas. Where else can you do that? We even tried the Talkeetna Spinach Bread which was really good, just like a pizza in many ways. We highly recommend a visit here if your timing permits. It wasn't horribly expensive unless you like lots of rides. Parking is free and well staffed.
