Disapointing condition of Le Boat charter boat.

点评：Our two week Le Boat charter on the Nivernais Canal should have been extraordinary— but the boat Le Boat provided made it anything but. While the canal itself was stunning and the local staff were kind and helpful, the vessel was shockingly unfit for charter.
Le Boat assigned us a 26 year old boat that was mechanically unreliable, cosmetically worn, and poorly equipped for summer conditions. It broke down repeatedly, the shade was inadequate, and the climate control system completely failed during a dangerous heat wave. Le Boat could not repair it, and we were forced to end our holiday early.
The most disappointing part was the UK head office’s response. They acknowledged the failures but offered no meaningful resolution, insisting that this deteriorated boat somehow met their standards.
The French canals are spectacular—but based on our experience, Le Boat is not the company to trust with your holiday. We saw many Riverly boats along the way, all in noticeably better condition. Before you sign a contract, check out Riverly - they're just better.
