点评:The gorge, 8 km long, is perfect for mountain lovers, with a wonderful walk/hike and great rock formations. The views are incredible, and the trail is of medium difficulty. Bring plenty of water and some snacks. Hiking shoes are recommended, as there are many loose stones, and the path is uneven, with scrambling over rocks and boulders. (I believed the trail was easy; I wore training shoes and felt every stone under my feet.)
This is definitely not a flat walk – people with mobility issues should not attempt this trail. You don't have to be an experienced hiker to bring this to a successful conclusion, but you still need to be good on your feet.
Our trip to Imbros took place during the closure of the Samaria Gorge, so there were a lot of people around us, but we managed to capture moments without others right behind us. We walked slowly, enjoying the wonderful views and nature. We spent about 4 hours in the gorge. We walked down the gorge, at the bottom there is a possibility of transport - 5 euros per person, to the car parked at the top at the entrance to the trail.
