Krang Suri Falls的点评
点评：Krang Suri water falls located near Amlarem village in Jaintia Hills district at a distance of 90 km from Shillong. We started from Shillong in the morning on rented bike at 08:00 am from Shillong and reached here by 10:00 am.
The Name Krang suri is derived from the local language, where "Krang" means Rock and Suri means "Stream" signifying the waterfalls.
Krang Suri is an offbeat destination but its popularity lies in its unique picturesque landscapes. Krang Suri falls is multi tiered waterfall that drops approximately 10-12 meters into a picturesque natural pool at its base. The pool at the base has been naturally deepened by the falling water force, where visitors swim and enjoying a refreshing dip. It is a mesmerizing waterfall that attracts visitors with its crystal clear blue waters and serene surroundings. unlike more popular tourist spots, Krang suri falls offers a peaceful and secluded environment, idle for relaxation.
The cobbled path leading to the waterfalls are made from naturally coloured stones found in the region. The beauty of falls is maintained very naturally with the trail crosses through dense vegetation covers of the Jaintia hills.
Overnight camping is another experience that tourists love. It is a thrilling night if you book camp here. due to time constraint we didn't opt campaign. You get to enjoy the bonfire.
The waterfall flows year around, though its character changes dramatically between seasons from gentle cascade in winter to a thundering torrent during monsoon. We visited in the month of December and it was very ideal flow of water and enjoyed beauty of the fall. The Krangsuri falls offers different experiences throughout the year.

There are different options to explore this waterfalls along with other nearby attractions.
Option No.1: We have planned our one day trip by clubbing Phe Phe falls, Krang Suri falls and Dawki. If you are okay to start in the early morning then this is vey optimized plan to cover all three in one day.
Option No.2: If you are not able to wakeup early in the morning and want to plan it relaxedly then you can visit this fallls in the morning then have lunch on the way. After lunch you can visit Nartiand Monoliths and Maa Jayanthi Shakti peet.
Entry timings and Fee:
Waterfall entry is allowed between 09:00 am to 05:00 pm every day.
Entry ticket is 50 INR per person.
Parking charges for Two wheeler is 50 INR and four wheeler is 100 INR.
