点评：Anna Ancher died in 1935. Michael in 1927. Walking into their home
in Skagen, you would barely know it.
Ella noticed the light in Anna's studio first — the north-facing
windows, the brushes still laid out, the quiet that comes from a
place that decided not to forget. The tea table in the dining room
is still set. The easels are still standing. It is less a museum
than a home that simply stayed.
Erik noticed the price: 100 kr. for the house alone, or 200 kr.
for a combined ticket covering Anckers Hus, Skagens Museum and
Drachmanns Hus. For anyone seriously interested in the Skagen
painters, this is exceptional value.
Best visited in the morning when the light comes through Anna's
studio windows. Allow at least 45–60 minutes — not because there
is a lot to cover, but because it rewards going slowly.
We would return. And we would arrive earlier.
