点评：I visited Keem Bay, Achill this morning and there are stunning views on way to the beach and the beach itself is beautiful
However, the portaloos at the beach, near the coffee caravan are absolutely disgusting and shocking. Every single toilet was completely unfit for use.
I appreciate that, due to the recent good weather, there may be concerns regarding water availability. However, if the toilets cannot be properly maintained, surely they should be closed until they can be adequately serviced.
I then drove back up to the public toilets at the top of the hill, only to find that these were also in a very poor condition, with sheep faeces throughout the toilets. There was running water and toilet tissue available, which was an improvement, but the general cleanliness was still unacceptable.
Surely, particularly during the busy summer season, someone could be assigned to regularly inspect and clean both the toilets at the beach and the public toilets above the bay.
In 2026, it is shocking that visitors to such a well-known tourist attraction are being faced with toilets in such a dirty and disgraceful condition. This reflects very poorly on Keem Bay and on the area as a whole.
