Historical and Folk Art Museum of Rethymnon的点评
点评：We had seen most of the other sites in the old town and had passed this little museum by a few times, as we were unsure from the review photos if it would be of interest to us. It looked a little old fashioned and small. What we found inside when we chose to visit was an eclectic view into Cretan life, not overly curated but well signed and laid out. We looked closely at the exhibits and found plenty to raise interest and to pose questions for the very helpful museum attendant. The courtyard garden was beautiful and calm. The second floor was quite different, with some interesting and attractive textiles and pottery that would not normally appeal to me but were presented so well that they did. The entry fee was very reasonable and we spent about an hour in total looking around the gallery and then sitting in the garden for a short time taking in the atmosphere of the beautiful museum buildings, courtyard and flowers. Recommended.
