点评：If you visit Rome and are passionate about art, you definitely have to visit this splendid palace, built in the Italian Baroque style. In addition to the beauty of the building itself, it also houses an incredible collection of paintings - I think it is the largest private collection in Rome, if not in Italy.
The only downside (but a very minor one) is that, being a private collection that has grown over the centuries, most of the paintings displayed in the large halls are not grouped according to any particular logic. But this can also be considered an advantage because, unlike traditional museums, where works by local artists abound (which, after a while, can become somewhat monotonous and boring), here you can also admire works by foreign artists. For example, I was pleasantly surprised to discover two paintings by Quentin Matsys, one of my favorite painters.
One tip: the palace is very large, so be prepared for a somewhat lengthy visit. We stayed for more than three hours, and it still wasn't enough, even though some of the rooms were closed to the public.
In addition to the main exhibition, you can also visit the private apartments. This is a separate visit, for which you can buy a ticket at the entrance to the palace. We arrived late and didn't have time for this part of the visit, which means only one thing: we'll have to come back.
