COME FROM AWAY - 6 STARS / GREAT THEATER/ SUBPAR FOOD
Fireside Theatre的点评
点评：This would have had six stars if it was just the production of COME FROM AWAY being reviewed. This is the third time I have seen the show and this production surpassed the National Tour and Chicago Suburban production. I cannot say enough about how great the cast and staging was. It didn't hurt that we happened to be in the second row. I feel fortunate to have seen such high caliber talent up close.
I am a big fan of theater and Wisconsin but had never heard of Fireside before. It was a quick 2 hour drive from Chicago on a beautiful fall day. We loved the grounds and the gift shops inside and since I am familiar with Wisconsin supper clubs were looking forward to the dining as well. The best part of the meal was the Old Fashioned and the bread. Most of the rest was somewhere between 'hospital food' and 'prison food'.
We thought of coming back for a Christmas Story but since you have to get a ticket with a meal we will probably pass.
(and I am sorry that I am writing this review after the show closed - or I would tell you to make the drive to see it despite the dining)

我们原本考虑圣诞节时再来体验一下，但既然必须购买含餐券才能入园，我们可能就不会去了。（很遗憾我在演出结束后才写这篇评论——不然我会建议大家即便要忍受糟糕的餐饮体验也值得驱车前去观看。）
