Our guide, Francis Ndegwa, accompanied us for the entire 10 days—and he was nothing short of exceptional. Beyond being a highly experienced guide, Francis is simply an outstanding person. His knowledge of wildlife, landscapes, and local culture was remarkable; he could answer every question we threw at him with depth and enthusiasm. He is incredibly warm, approachable, and genuinely fun to be around—we shared countless fascinating and lighthearted conversations along the way.
Francis was always punctual, drove us everywhere safely, and actively listened to our requests, doing everything possible to accommodate them within our schedule. What truly set him apart was his respect for the wildlife: he consistently ensured we had the best possible viewing angles and allowed us to spend as much time as we wanted simply watching animals in their natural state—all while maintaining a respectful distance and preserving the wild atmosphere around them . This mindful approach was absolutely imperative to our experience and made every encounter feel authentic and ethical.
