Lovely stay at a local Champagne house
Champagne Philippe Martin的点评
点评：This was our first trip to the Champagne region. Found the rooms at Philippe Martin online, and booking was easy.
We stayed in the suite Suzanne, which was cozy with a small living room (including a fridge stocked with various bottles of their own champagne) and a nice bathroom with a glimpse up towards the vineyards.
The hostess (I sadly can't remember the name) showed us around, and was very friendly and helpful. A nice welcome!
We visited during the heatwave so it was kind of hot, even if the bedroom has a stand-alone aircon unit.
After hours we pretty much had the entire place to ourselves, and after dinner in Hautvillers we spent the late evening sharing a bottle of champagne in the cozy backyard.
The breakfast was nice with a good variety of croissants, bread, cheese and jam.
All in all we loved our stay, and would love to come back.
