点评：A gentle slope up from the Rochers de Naye train station, we were greeted with a cheerful “bonjour!” from the volunteer caretaker as we crossed the threshold into the beautiful garden. Many varieties of flowers and other plants are cared for here and it shows. Beautiful terraced beds with labels for every variety! Be warned however, if you are afraid of heights, you will NOT want to go past the small wooden hut at the bottom of the garden. TURN BACK AT THIS POINT. Beyond this is a very narrow path, often only flanked by a small 1/4” gauge cable, sometimes by a rope and sometimes not AT ALL, allowing for beautiful vistas if you aren’t too busy hoping you don’t die. This path eventually turns back to where you started, but not before offering some moments where I was certain I was going to fall off the planet. All in all it takes about 20 minutes to complete the loop, and probably about 5 years off your lifespan. (Beautiful garden though!)
