Hawks Well Theatre的点评
点评：Extremely disappointed with both my experience at the Kyla Cobbler show this year (that’s tickets I bought back in June 2025) and the Hawkswell Theatre’s handling of my complaint afterward.
I bought the tickets as a Christmas present for a close friend who is a huge fan of the comedian, but the night was completely ruined by an extremely intoxicated woman and her group. Security staff witnessed them openly drinking cans of alcohol and still allowed the woman to re-enter the auditorium despite her visibly intoxicated state. She then continued to roar interruptions during the performance and eventually fell asleep on another patron beside her.
When I raised the issue, the theatre offered two tickets to a show of their choosing as a gesture of “good faith.” I explained that my friend does not live in Sligo and requested either a refund or a voucher instead, but received no further response.
What makes this more disappointing is that I have supported the Hawkswell Theatre for years — attending the feis’s as a child, Kieran Quinn nights, INDIAN, and many productions and events over time. Unfortunately, the response I received felt more focused on protecting staff than properly acknowledging the failure in customer care and event management on the night.
People pay good money to support the arts and deserve to enjoy the experience without disruption and to be treated fairly when legitimate complaints are raised. More than one person complained about this woman on this night. Very disappointing handling of the situation from start to finish
