Turtle Conservation Project Turtle Watch的点评
点评：We had really high hopes for this place, and even though we did see turtles we were concerned how disruptive the staff were to the turtles and how many people were allowed to crowd round them. The guides kept saying the nest had “collapsed” and multiple turtles were making their way back to sea which we now believe after researching it was due to high levels of disruption from guides constantly checking and shining lights to see if they were in the egg laying process. In the group there was maybe 50/60 people and people were allowed to crowd round the turtle. We left after we saw a turtle laying eggs and noticed one of the guides was holding the back leg/flipper out the way. We truly do not believe this place is ethical what so ever and we’re disappointed we paid 4000 lkr to join the turtle watch. We absolutely would avoid in the future and wouldn’t recommend. We have never wrote a bad review and are very fair people, but this one was 100% justified. There are lots of young tourists who absolutely do not care about turtles or their welfare.
