Milton Keynes Museum的点评
点评：It may be a false memory but I seem to recall visiting this site in the 1990s and finding little more than a big barn with old farm implements on the wall. Well, I'm nerd enough to derive pleasure even from that but today's Milton Keynes Museum bears no comparison. It is now a huge complex with an old manor house at its centre, large, lwned areas, gardens and several purpose-built, modern buildings. The various exhibits cover reconstructed Victorian shops, a Victorian house and gardens, MK transport, ancient MK, telecommunications, a bandstand, boats and steam engines and a handful of concrete cows. There's a modest but servicable cafe serving cakes and snacks. There is also a shop stocking relevant and tasteful locally sourced gift items.
The entry price of £17.50 may seem a little pricey but I was here for a good 3 hours and could have spent longer. Additionally, the ticket covers a full 12 months.
