Let down by this
Escape Hunt Lakeside的点评
点评：Me and my 11 year old daughter visited as a treat for the end of summer hols. I’ve done 4 escape rooms before and my daughter’s done one. As soon as we went in we were told by the host that ‘did we know this was the most difficult room!!’ I said no, I thought I’d missed something on the website when I booked but there’s no difficulty levels on there.
So from the start we were a little let down and quite embarrassed. A few of the tasks involved needing 3 people so the host had to come in and help us.
It was also so so hot in the room, no fan or air con, we were both sweating when we came out.
Half way through the host offered a drink, I actually thought it was a clue, when I found out it wasn’t I ordered a water and she then came in with a card machine, then came back in ten mins later with the water, never had that before in an escape room as I’ve always thought of it as an immersive experience, not people walking in and out.
We had a bag of shopping with us and I asked if we could leave it somewhere, normally there’s a safe box outside the room but she just said to put it on the shelf so we had our shopping sat there, again just takes away the whole immersive feel about it. There was no build up apart from a bit of dialogue from a recorded tannoy in the room.
We didn’t complete it and just left feeling deflated. I’ve emailed the company twice with no response, as I feel like we’ve really been mis sold this and they should put difficulty levels on the rooms, I wouldn’t recommend, there’s a lot better ones out there that aren’t as expensive.
