点评：During my last trip to Sohra (Cherrapunji), I visited Nohkalikai Waterfall around 3 PM. We first needed to buy a ₹100 ticket, which included both our entry and car parking. However, it was extremely foggy at that time. My mother and I waited for almost 30 minutes, but the view did not clear up at all. Hence, we decided to visit again the next day, early in the morning.
The next day, it was around 10 AM when we reached there. This time, the weather was completely clear. The view was so mesmerizing! It was the first time I had witnessed such a magnificent plunge waterfall. The water cascading down the cliff, the small pool below, and the lush green Khasi Hills all around—everything looked absolutely amazing.
Also, there are a few shops nearby with some wonderful collections. You can buy some souvenirs and local items from them too.
💫Pro Tips:
✅ Visit as early in the morning as possible.
✅ Carry an umbrella. The weather here is truly unpredictable.
✅ You can use the same ticket on the following day if you were unable to see the waterfall due to foggy weather on your first visit.
