点评：NohKaLikai Falls is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places I visited in Meghalaya. Pictures do not fully capture the sheer scale and beauty of this waterfall. Seeing the water plunge from such a great height into the deep green pool below is an unforgettable sight.
The viewpoint is well maintained and offers a clear panoramic view of the falls and the surrounding cliffs. One thing I particularly liked was that the area was not overly crowded, allowing visitors to enjoy the scenery peacefully and take photographs without much disturbance.
Another advantage is that there is no admission fee, making it one of the best natural attractions in Meghalaya that can be enjoyed completely free of charge.
I would strongly recommend starting early from Shillong. Weather in Sohra can change quickly, and fog often covers the falls later in the day. The drive itself is very scenic, although the roads have several sharp turns, so careful driving is necessary, especially during the rainy season.
Parking is available near the viewpoint, and reaching the viewing area requires only a short and easy walk, making it suitable for families and elderly visitors as well. There are also a few small stalls nearby where you can enjoy tea, snacks, and local refreshments.
Overall, NohKaLikai Falls completely lives up to its reputation. The combination of dramatic scenery, peaceful surroundings, easy accessibility, and free entry makes it one of the highlights of any trip to Meghalaya. A must-visit destination for nature lovers and photographers alike.
