Caledonian Canal的点评
点评：We sailed. Very expensive license to use the canal from Fort William to Inverness. I was expecting at least decent facilties at locks. Very basic. No water at some, no bins at others....Rare shops along the way to restock food. So leisurely up and down, no way! You have to move on. Laggan locks: The guy was on his lunch break... Until 2pm.Not answering VHS. Bit of a panic as to where to moor as the very flashy "help leaflet" you get is unclear or actually wrong (feather pontoon at loggan: commercial and very shallow)...no compassion/concern on the lock keeper part!
The scenery is stunning, but I knew it.. Done by car, camper etc.
Would I recommend the Caledonian Canal as a nice thing to do? No. Only if you want to avoid the difficult sailing along the coast. Or rent a boat for a short part of it. Very disappointing.

翻译：我们乘船航行。从威廉堡到因弗内斯这段运河的使用许可费贵得离谱。我原以为船闸处至少会有像样的设施。结果却极其简陋：有些船闸根本没有水，有些则连垃圾桶都没有……沿途也很少有商店可以补充食物。所以根本没法悠闲地慢悠悠航行啊！必须不停前进才行。拉根船闸处：工作人员正在午休……要直到下午2点才上班。他也不接VHS的电话。一开始还有点慌，不知道该把船停在哪里，因为拿到的那份“指南小册子”既含糊不清又有误（上面说洛根处有浮筒码头：商业用途且水深极浅）……而船闸管理员则毫无同情心或关心之意！
这里的风景确实绝美，这点我早有心理准备。可以开车或驾驶露营车前往。
我会推荐游览喀里多尼亚运河作为一项不错的体验吗？并不会。只有在你想避开沿海航行的艰难路段时才值得一去。或者只租船游览其中一小段也算可以。整体体验实在令人失望。
