点评:We learned before our visit that you can park on the Spain side and walk across a runway to get to Gibraltor, which is still British territory. Once in the town, we hopped on a local bus to get to an area near the Mediterranean steps entrance. What a mistake! We had to climb a steep hill about a mile on a road to get to the entrance, but there weren't any signs along the way, so we were climbing blindly. When we arrived at the entrance, we bought our tickets and told the park ranger that we were climbing the Mediterranean steps. He warned us that the climb was not for the faint of heart, but we are in decent shape, so we ignored him. Oh boy, it is a challenging hike! And no guard rails along the way. We finally gave up about a third of the way. But the views were sublime and we enjoyed every huffing and puffing moment. Too much walking prior to the hike so we suggest that you don't follow in our footsteps!
