LOWER PRICES = MORE REASONS TO SHOP AT SHAW’S
Dover Crossing的点评
点评：Over the past couple of months, Shaw’s at Dover Crossing has been lowering prices. It’s become a more attractive place to shop.
Some of the sale prices have been at very deep discounts.
Just within the past couple of weeks, I’ve purchased many items on sale.
One Big Deals sale that lasted multiple weeks was on Reg. $12.99 Angel Soft 12 Mega Roll/48-Roll packages at $5.00 off at $7.99 each. Needless to say, the store could hardly keep the item stocked to meet demand.
One weekly sale included Reg. $3.99 Progresso Soups on sale at $1.99 each. That’s been a repeat and sells well.
And, another weekly sale featured all varieties of Reg. $12.99 Green Mountain Coffee for just $4.99 each. The condition for that deal was that one had to buy two bags. That was a savings of $8.00 per bag and $16.00 on the two. This is a deal that’s repeated three times recently that I know of. To date, no competitor has been able to match that price.
I also got two boxes of Reg. $4.99 each of Nonni’s Biscotti on sale at $3.99 each, plus an extra $1.00 off the two with a Shaw’s for U™ online coupon.
Since lowering prices, I’ve noticed more cars in the parking lot. The store is doing more business because it is better able to compete with ALDI across the street and Hannaford next door and Market Basket a couple of miles away.
I rate my recent visits to Shaw’s within the past couple of weeks at 4.50 and can recommend shopping the sales there.
I’ll remind people to check the weekly sale brochure which is readily available online at the store website. The Big Deals sale brochure is also available there.
Other places of interest at Dover Crossing include IKKO Japanese Steak House, Panera Bread, Petco, and Rocky’s ACE Hardware. Sadly, the Bed Bath & Beyond closed in 2023 due to the company’s bankruptcy.
